What we collect
Account details you give us (name, email, date of birth, country, photo and bio), the content you create (CV, cover letters, community posts, support messages), your learning activity (lessons, quiz scores, course completions, certificates), your saved job applications, and basic usage data such as when you last signed in.
Why we collect it
To run your account and keep it secure, to show your progress and issue certificates, to match you with relevant roles and courses, to confirm membership payments, to answer your support requests, and to understand how the platform is used so we can improve it.
Age requirement
WorkHer HQ is for people aged 16 and over. We collect date of birth solely to enforce this. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we will remove it.
Who can see your information
Your name, photo, country and bio are visible to other signed-in members. Your CV, cover letters, job tracker, payment records and support messages are private to you and the WorkHer HQ team. We never sell your personal information.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to host the platform, store data, send notifications and power AI features. They process your data only to provide those services to us, under confidentiality obligations.
AI features
When you use the AI career coach, CV assistant or cover letter generator, the text you submit is sent to an AI provider to produce a response. Do not paste sensitive information such as bank details or ID numbers into these tools.
Keeping your data safe
Access to your data is restricted at the database level so that, as a rule, only you and authorised WorkHer HQ staff can reach it. Passwords are stored hashed and we never see them.
Your choices
You can edit or delete most of your information from Settings at any time. To request a full copy of your data, or deletion of your account, contact us through Help & Support and we will action it.
